Pan-fried Salmon with Brown Sauce

Salmon is a healthier alternative to red meat and one of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly EPA and DHA, which are nature's heart medicines. Much of the salmon you see in supermarkets is farmed; in fact, farmed salmon outnumbers wild salmon by 85 to one.Some people have expressed concern that farmed salmon has higher levels of contaminants than fresh, but researchers evaluating the risks/benefits of farmed over wild concluded that either is fine.Fresh salmon should look moist, shiny, bright and firm. It should smell sea-fresh, not overwhelmingly fishy.


8 oz salmon with skin off
1 tsp sesalt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup all purpose flour
3 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp steak sauce
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves fresh garlic,peeled and slice

2 handful of clean spinach,microwave for 1 minute
1/2 tomato,slice


1:Rub seasalt and ground pepper allover the salmon.Coast the coat with flour.Heat a skillet at medium high heat.Grease it with olive oil before place season salmon on it.Cover with lid.
2:Pan-fry for 2 minutes on each side .Do not over fry or lose the moisture.
3:Meanwhile heat a small pan at medium heat with butter, fry garlic until lightly brown.Add in steak sauce,sugar and soy sauce,stir well for 1 minute.
4:Microwave clean spinach,place on a dinner plate with tomato slices.Then place fried salmon on top of spinach.Pour the brown sauce on the salmon.
5:Serve warm with rice or pasta.
