Snow Crab Leg with Butter and Garlic

Last week our local market had Snow Crab on sale for $2.99 a pound. If it's not on sale Snow Crab will cost a bomb!! I'm a crab lover ,it's doesn't matter what type of crab available as long as it's crab,I'm sure whack it all with finger licking good!! Usually I prefer to cook crab with ginger and scallion Chinese method but I don't think Snow Crab is suitable pairing with these kind of herbs.Furthermore ,I think using butter and garlic is much better than ginger and scallion coz when butter and garlic infused into Snow Crab it's will give the Snow Crab Leg a better buttery aroma and garlicky flavor instead of herby flavor,right?


2-3 lbs Snow Crab Leg,thawed(usually comes in frozen form)
7-8 cloves fresh garlic,peeled and chopped
4 tbsp butter
salt to taste
1 tsp ground pepper
1/4 cup Chablis or any white wine

1:Wash and cut Snow Crab leg into 2 pieces,set aside.Heat large skillet at medium high heat,add in garlic and butter.Use spatula to stir for 30 second or until fragrant.
2:Add in Snow Crab Leg and white wine,let it simmer for 5 minutes.Keep stirring for another 5 minutes before add in salt and ground pepper.Check the seasoning .
3:Dish out and serve warm.
