Pecan Tassies

Pecan tassies is one of my favorite Christmas cookies.Actually this cookies is not hard to made.To be honest  pecan tassies is easier to make than any cut cookies.Pecan tassies is not only taste delicious but look exquisite to present as gift for Christmas..







Ingredients:

Crust:


1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour

Filling:


1 egg
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped pecan ( lightly roasted)



Method:

Preheat oven to 325 F.Prepare 24 mini muffin pan.
For the crust:

1:Combine cream cheese and butter in a mixer,mix well before add in flour.Make sure all the ingredients well blended and form a smooth dough.

2:Divide the dough in 24 balls  or more.Press the ball into mini muffin pans.

Filling:

3:Combine egg, brown sugar and vanilla in a container,mix well.

4:Place some crushed pecan into the prepared mini pan with dough.Then fill the egg mixture into the mini cups until 3/4 full.

5:Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown.Cool 5 minutes before remove tassies from pans to cooling rack.

6:Cool completely before store in air tight container.
