The weather at our area or Northeast is still very cool and chilly. In facts these few days we still landed with snow, rain and slush. So the best things to eat during this cool weather is some hearty stewed meat.Hubby preferred beef than pork,so I prepared this Stewed Beef with Steak Spices for him.(I didn't consume beef at all due to religion reason,so I have to drag hubby to test the seasoning).Accordingly to hubby this hearty stewed is really delicious!!
4-5 lbs chuck beef (boneless chuck pot roast part which have some fats) cut into chunk
5-6 Idaho potato,peeled and cut into 1/2
2 cups baby carrot
3 medium onion, peeled and cut in quarter

3 tbsp Steak spices ( can get steak spieces anywhere)
3 tbsp tomato flavors chicken bouillon powder
1/2 cup sherry wine
2 cups or can beef broth
salt to taste
3-4 tbsp vegetable oil
1:Use Cajun spices to rub all over the beef, set aside.Prepare large iron cast stock pot with oil and garlic at high heat.Fry garlic for 30 seconds, then add in chuck beef into the pot.Use wooden spatula to stir the beef for 10 minutes.(this method to sealed the beef)
2:Add in the rest of seasoning.(do not add in the broth yet)Lower the heat to medium.Simmer the beef for 30-45 minutes with lid on.Stir the beef from time to time.Add in beef broth, potato, onion and carrot.
