The only place I bought my Wild salmon is Walmart.I won't use wild salmon for sushi because of the appearance: dull color .I prefer to use farm raise salmon for sushi because they have attractive powerful orange color. Since I have some leftover ground almond sitting around,I might as well used it to coat on the salmon.This new almond salmon recipe are not only interesting but delicious!!
2 pieces wild salmon,about 200 gm each piece,thawed (previously frozen)
1 tbsp sea salt
1 tsp ground pepper
1/2 cup ground roasted almond with 3 tbsp flour and 1 tbsp sugar powder
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 egg + 3 tbsp milk or water
1: Season salmon with salt and ground pepper,set aside.Ground almond (use pulse on blender)with flour and sugar powder if you don't gave ready ground almond.
2:Preheat oven to 400F.Prepare baking sheet over aluminum foil,spray with butter or vegetable oil on the foil to prevent sticking.
3:Coat seasoned salmon with flour,then dip into the egg mixture before coat with almond mixture.Placed coated salmon on the greased baking sheet.
4:Spray some oil on the coated salmon before bake for 30 minutes.Remove from oven serve warm with tartar sauce .
