Grilled Basil Chicken

Since hubby been eating healthy food for his diet,I tried to cook his food with less grease and fat.Today I tried something more tasteful then just steam.I marinated the boneless chicken thigh with salt,ground pepper ,sugar and chopped Thai's basil overnight before pan-grilled on the skillet..Beside that I make him brown rice instead of Jasmine rice for his carbohydrates. I think I should alternated cooking different type of rice for our daily diet ,if not he going to get bored fast eating the same food.I prefer Japanese brown rice rather then Korean brown rice..this is my personal taste,no offence..


2 pieces boneless chicken thigh
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 handful chopped Thai's basil
2 tbsp olive olive

1:Heat skillet at medium high heat. When skillet burning hot or smokey,drizzle oil ,place marinated chicken on it.Cover with lid,reduce heat to medium.

2:Cook each side about 10 minutes or until cooked.Remove chicken from skillet,sprinkle with some chopped basil.

3:Serve chicken warm with steamed brown rice.

I like! I have been trying to use less sauces in cooking so this is perfect. Tasty and easy.
