It's been a while I cook any pasta dish for my family.Mishu love spaghetti meat ball but unfortunately I don't eat beef.Usually I would humor her but it's been awhile I have any pasta and would love to have linguine in marinara sauce ..So I figure out it's would be nice to use seafood with linguine and marinara sauce.Last week I bought two pound of plum tomato and decided to use fresh tomato to make the sauce but too bad ,the plum tomato is just a pound not enough to make marinara sauce for the whole family. Then I add in a bottle of ready make marinara sauce together with the freshly blend plum tomato.Combine 2 different kind of sauce is an excellent idea!! It's really super delicious especially with the seafood flavor!!!
Ingredients:
1 box or pack linguine
1 lb bay scallop
20 pieces large shrimp, shelled and deviened
1 lb clam,cleaned
grated Parmesan cheese
handful chopped cilantro
Sauce:
6-7 cloves fresh garlic,peeled,sliced
1 bottol marinara sauce(any brand)
2 lbs plum tomato
1 tbsp ground black pepper
salt to taste
Method:
1:Boil water in large stock pot to cook pasta. When water rolling boil add in pasta and salt, cook accordingly to the instruction on the package.Drained cooked pasta before add in butter and set aside.
2:Wash plum tomato and blend until puree, set aside.
3:Meanwhile prepare large stock pot or deep skillet at medium heat, add in olive oil and chopped garlic.Saute garlic until lightly brown ,add puree plum tomato sauce and marinara sauce.
