3 pounds chicken wings (middle section)
1 tbsp five spices powder ( 五香粉)
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp cooking wine
1 tbsp hoisin sauce (海鲜酱)
*combine above seasoning in Ziploc bag and marinate with chicken wings overnight*
2 tbsp Maltose
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp warm water
1:Marinate chicken wings with above seasoning in Ziploc bag for 2-3 hours or overnight.
2:Preheat oven at 425 F. Prepare aluminum foil over large baking sheet ( to minimize scrubbing baking sheet/tray)
3:Lay marinated chicken wings over baking sheet over aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
4:Mix maltose with honey with 2 tbsp warm water in a small bowl,then brush over the wings,change setting to broil ,broil for another 3 minutes.
5:Remove wings from oven and serve warm as snack or appetizer.
You can eat as it's but hubby love to dip the wing with blue cheese dressing.
