Oat and Raisins Cookies ll

I likes to bake different kinds of oat and raisins cookies. But this time I added some finely ground almond nuts and sesame seeds with it. These oaty, fruity cookies are tasty and semi-crunchy.This recipe is really simple and easy.Give it a try ,you might love it!
Ingredients:

1/2 cup all purpose flour

4 tbsp butter

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg ,beaten

2 cups oats

1 cup raisins

2-3 tbsp sesame seeds

3 tbsp finely chopped/ground almond nuts

Method:

1:Preheat oven to 350 F.Prepare 2 lightly grease baking/cookie sheets or line with parchment papers.Sift flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
2:In a large bowl, cream together butter ans sugar until light and fluffy.Add in egg gradually and beat until well combined. Then add in sifted flour mixture, mix well.
3:Add in oats, raisins ,sesame seeds and ground almond nuts, mix together thoroughly.Place spoonfuls or use 1/2 ice-cream scoop of the mixture well apart (to allow spreading during baking) on the prepared cookie/baking sheets and flatten them slightly with the back of a spoon.
4:Bake the cookies for 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown. let the cookies cool slightly on the cookies sheets before transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
5:To enjoy these cookies at the best, store them in an airtight container.

Sounds so yummy. :) My girl and hubby don't know how to appreciate raisins and my hubby hates oats. :( Maybe I can bake it and give it to someone else. :)

You take very nice photos of food. Have you considered submitting a portfolio of some of your shots to magazines or cookbook publishers? Not everyone can get such good shots.

I really love how you decorated the cookies! A little ribbon can really do the trick. Next time when I need to snap some cookies pictures, let me find a nice ribbon. :)
