2 heads broccoli(removed the stump and cut small)
10 shrimp clean deviened
1 carrot (peel and sliced)
3 cloves garlic(minced)
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp chicken bullion powder
1 tbsp corn starch to coat shrimp
1:Clean and deviened shrimp ,mix with corn starch and egg for 5 minutes,set aside.
2:Cut ,wash broccoli and carrot,microwave for 2-3 minutes,set aside.(if you want broccoli softer,microwave longer)
3:Prepare skillet or wok at high heat with vegetable oil,add in garlic,fry until golden brown,then add in shrimp.Stir fry for another 3 minutes,add in broccoli , carrot ,oyster sauce and chicken bullion powder.Mix all the ingredients well,toss for another 2 minutes before removed from heat. Serve warm or hot with rice. Note:
You can use chicken ,beef or pork with broccoli for this dish.Usually Chinese restaurant or take out restaurant cook broccoli in hot oil first,then wash away with cold water before sauteed.The reason for them to cook this way it's for the broccoli cook faster save time ,look greener and crunchier.I think to dump the broccoli into a hot pot of oil first it's not healthy coz the broccoli was loaded an absorb with oil even though it's wash with cold water.I still prefer to cook my broccoli in microwave first in order to save time as well as it's have same result: healthier,delicious and crunchier.
