1 whole fish (clean inside out)
2 tbsp corn flour(for coating)
3 cloves garlic(minced)
1/2 bell pepper(diced)
3 red pepper(diced)
2 tbsp taucu paste (fermented bean paste)
1 tbsp chili sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp rice wine
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1:Clean and dry whole fish,pat with hand towel and coated with corn flour.Prepare skillet with oil at high heat,fry whole fish both side until golden brown.Then remove ,set aside.
2:Use the same skillet to fry garlic,then add in tauchu paste,sugar,salt ,chili sauce and rice wine..When the sauce rolling boil add in all the vegetables.Stir the sauce for 5 minutes before spread the fried fish over the sauce.Removed the whole fish from heat and serve warm with rice.
Can you believe,I finish this whole fish by myself? .It's really yummy delicious,I can taste the freshness of this whole fish.For us Asian eating whole fish with head and bone attached is so normal but it's "NO NO " for hubby who had culture shock the first time I ordered this type of meal in a Chinese restaurant during Chinese New Year.
