Ingredients:
4-6 pieces or 1 packet frozen frog legs(clean and thawed)
5-6 cloves fresh garlic(minced)
1 large onion(cut)
4-5 thai's chili(cut)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp fish oil
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
.
Method:
1:Wash and cut the frog leg into 2 pieces.Heat skillet or wok in medium heat, add in oil ,ginger and garlic.
2:Saute garlic and thai's chili,add in frog leg,soy sauce,oyster sauce,fish oil and sugar.
3:Stir fried above ingredients for 10-15 minutes.Lastly add in onion and saute for another 5 minutes.Serve warm with rice. The only edible part of a frog is its hind legs. The delicate meat is tender and lightly sweet and can be most closely compared to the white meat of a very young chicken.
Elliot keep telling his friends that I'm eating Sweet Chicken"Frog Leg".I guess American find eating frog leg as delicacy is so bizarre.Trust me,French and Caribbean do eat this delicacy..
Note:
You can coated the frog leg with flour and deep fried until crispy before caramelized with sauce. That is another alternative style of cooking frog leg.Don't be afraid of frog leg.You can buy ready clean frog leg ,so no much work needed or you can try to order this dish in Asian restaurant..Enjoy!

Frog legs are delicious!
I greedily scarfed them down as a kid, especially deep fried in spicy salt.
Here in Vancouver, I haven't been to a restaurant that serves frog legs, but I've seen the frogs for sale sometimes. They're not cleaned though so I hesitate to buy them.
Thank you for posting about frog legs. There's so much variety in food that I love seeing and/or hearing about them. It's a sad day when all we have to eat is chicken.
I love frog legs! You've got to get non-frozen ones and cook it. There will be a difference.
You can try Kung Po Frog Legs. Usually Kung Po and Ginger Green Onion are the two most popular ways to cook frog legs. I promise myself to eat this when I get back to Singapore :D
I love frog leg too but have yet to cook it myself. Like Tigerfish, I had some frog legs while in M'sia. I think we paid double in King Crabs but delicious though! The Chinese restaurants up in Denver actually sell frog legs. When I collect enough money (from PPP), I should order some frog legs huh?
We like to cook frog legs with porridge. I saw some frozen one in the Asian store but never thought of buying it.
Hi, actually it's not 'tiam kai' or 'sweet chicken'. It is 'teenh kai'. 'Teenh kai' in cantonese means 'paddy chicken' because the frogs are usually found in paddy (rice) fields.
