Philadelphia Cheesecake

If you think making cheese cake is very difficult, you're wrong now!!.I always thought cheese cake must need at lot of time and ingredients to make, but not after I found that Kraft's do have Philly cheesecake filling in the market now.I'm a cheese cake lover but buying ready bake cheesecake from bakery can be pricey.I only buy ready made cheese cake if there's a sale.Last week, when I do my food shopping I saw Kraft's Philly cheese cake filling on sale at $3.99,I grab one and read the instruction. It's said NO bake, just chill and spread over a pie crust, then you go....Viola!!.That is my experiment...

Sorry,my photo is not clear,my camera is acting up..going kaput!!.
I add some cherry topping ,hence it's good without it.
This filling is really good, not sweet for us who don't have sweet tooth.Just spread into your pie crust..then store in fridge for 30 minutes and then dig in!!
I make my own pie crust from Graham cracker but you can just buy from supermarket.I think I add in a little bit too much sugar and too much butter, that the reason it's look wet.So I chill the pie crust for 20 minutes before spread in the cream cheese filling..
We finish this whole pie within 2 days, usually any pie will just stay in fridge for weeks, then trash it's goes..Hubby keep looking for cheesecake, but sorry all gone!!..I'm going to get another one from supermarket soon..Overall,this whole pie just cost under $5.00..Give it a try!!

Chicken Spinach Cheese Manocotti

The sauce is too dry after I baked it until hot and bubbly, but the taste is really yummy!!.I'm going to use the same recipe for other pasta....
Well,I have to add in more spaghetti sauce after hubby complaint too dry....

I saw Ronzoni's pasta product on sale when I shop at my regular food mart.I quickly glance at the price,it's just $0.69 a pack.Well, how can I not buy something is below half price, right?.Well,I never cook Manocotti pasta before, but would love to try out. Most of the time I just cook, linguine or spaghetti...Here it's goes....
14 pc Manicotti pasta uncooked
3 1/2 cups of ricotta cheese
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese,divided
2 eggs
100 gm chop chicken
1 cup chopped spinach(frozen form ,removed the water)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce

Heat oven to 350 F.Cooking pasta according to package directions.I a large bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, 1/1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese,1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, eggs, spinach and seasonings.Spoon about 1/3 cup cheese mixture into each pasta tube:,place in 13x9 baking pan.Pour spaghetti sauce over filled pasta:sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.Cover with foil:bake 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Note: I baked until hot and bubbly, the sauce dry out .So I add another 1 cup of spaghetti sauce before serving. It's depends,if you like your pasta more juicy ,add in more sauce.Next time I will just bake for 35 minutes not hot and bubbly..Overall this dish is really great...try to cook for your family at home. It's really easy and simple.
